The sky was too hazy for a crystal clear shot like this one. But I really liked this one the most as you still see the whole of the moon hiding behind the haze. I was only using the 75-300 instead of the large glass 400mm I use on the other one. So to answer your question:, it was not the intended result I was looking for but a very delightful outcome of some trial and error.
